Mom’s Ham Salad

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 5 cups ham, fully cooked, diced
  • 1/3 cup pecans and almonds, optional, chopped and toasted
  • slider buns, optional, to taste, split

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl with a lid, mix the mayonnaise, the celery, the green onions, the chives, the honey, the spicy brown mustard, the Worcestershire sauce, the seasoned salt, and the ham together.

Step 2 –Place the lid on the bowl and refrigerate the ham salad until ready to serve.

Step 3 –Add the pecans and almonds to the ham salad and stir to combine.

Step 4 –Serve the ham salad with the slider buns.
