Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package bulk pork sausage
- 1/2 (8-ounce) package Neufchâtel cheese, softened
- 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess fat from the skillet.
Step 3 –Stir the Neufchâtel cheese into the sausage and cook until combined.
Step 4 –Transfer the skillet from the heat and set it aside.
Step 5 –Unroll the crescent rolls and place 1/2 of the rolls into an 8×8-inch glass baking dish, making sure to press the seams together.
Step 6 –Add the sausage mixture on top of the dough.
Step 7 –Sprinkle the top of the sausage mixture with the cheddar cheese.
Step 8 –Top with the remaining crescent roll dough, pressing the seams together to seal.
Step 9 –Bake until golden-brown, about 20-25 minutes.
Step 10 –Let the bake cool for about 10 minutes before cutting it.
