Ingredients
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 – 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- thinly sliced green onion, optional for garnish
- sesame seeds, optional for garnish
Directions
Step 1 –Put the flour into a large plastic bag.
Step 2 –Then, season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
Step 3 –Add the chicken into the bag a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat the chicken evenly.
Step 4 –Using a large skillet, cook the chicken thighs in the oil in batches over medium heat until the chicken thighs are no longer pink.
Step 5 –Remove the chicken and cover to keep warm.
Step 6 –Using the same skillet, add together the remaining ingredients.
Step 7 –Bring to a boil, stirring to loosen browned bits from the pan. Stir until it has thickened.
Step 8 –Return the chicken to the pan; heat through. Sprinkle with the green onion and sesame seeds if desired, and serve.
