Ingredients
- 4 (4-ounce) turkey breast cutlets
- kosher salt, to taste
- fresh pepper, to taste
- 1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 2 large egg whites, beaten
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- lemon wedges, optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 –Season the turkey breasts with salt and pepper.
Step 2 –Combine the breadcrumbs and parmesan in a medium bowl.
Step 3 –Add the egg whites to another medium bowl.
Step 4 –Dip the turkey breasts into the egg white mixture and then in the breadcrumb mixture, shaking off any excess.
Step 5 –Heat a large non-stick frying pan on medium heat.
Step 6 –Add the butter and oil.
Step 7 –When the butter is melted, add the cutlets and cook until evenly golden brown and cooked through at 165 degrees F, about 6 minutes per side.
Step 8 –Serve with lemon wedges.
