Peach Dump Cake

When you need a sweet treat in a pinch, this Peach Dump Cake will do! In fact, it will more than “just do.” The fluffy yellow cake baked on top of syrupy-sweet peaches will be something you’ll want to make over and over again. And it gets extra bonus points for being extremely easy to make. So, don’t break a sweat when you’re in charge of dessert; this Peach Dump Cake is a delightfully delicious breeze!

Ingredients

  • 2 (16-ounce) cans peaches in heavy syrup
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • vanilla ice cream, optional, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Pour the peaches and their syrup in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –Cover the peaches with the dry cake mix and press down on it firmly.

Step 4 –Scatter the butter pieces on top of the cake mix.

Step 5 –Sprinkle the butter with the cinnamon.

Step 6 –Bake the cake until it is golden-brown, about 45 minutes.

Step 7 –Serve with the vanilla ice cream.
