Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds flat iron or top sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch pieces

Directions

Step 1 –In a large resealable plastic bag, pour in the soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, basil, parsley, and black pepper. Massage the bag to mix the ingredients.

Step 2 –Add the steak pieces to the bag and seal it shut. Massage the bag to ensure that all of the steak pieces are evenly coated in the marinade.

Step 3 –Place the bag in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 15 minutes and up to 24 hours.

Step 4 –Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 5 –Once the skillet is very hot, add the steak using a slotted spoon. Discard the excess marinade.

Step 6 –Cook the steak pieces until they reach the desired level of doneness, reading 135 degrees F for medium-rare, about 2-3 minutes.
