Ingredients
- 2 cups egg noodles, uncooked
- 2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
- 1 (10.5 ounces) can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas or frozen vegetables
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, optional, shredded
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 –Cook the egg noodles al dente according to package directions.
Step 3 –Drain the egg noodles.
Step 4 –Combine the egg noodles, chicken, soup, milk, and vegetables in a 2-quart casserole dish.
Step 5 –Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top.
Step 6 –Mix together the butter and breadcrumbs in a small bowl.
Step 7 –Sprinkle buttered breadcrumbs over the casserole.
