Ingredients
- 1 jar seedless berry jam
- 2 pints blueberries
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a small bowl, whisk the berry jam until smooth.
Step 3 –Add the blueberries to the jam and stir gently to incorporate.
Step 4 –In a mixing bowl, add the butter and the brown sugar and mix until combined.
Step 5 –Gradually add the oats, the flour, and the baking soda to the sugar mixture and blend until it is crumbly.
Step 6 –Press 2/3 of the crumble into the bottom of a cast-iron skillet or a 13×9-inch baking dish.
Step 7 –Bake the crumble for 25 minutes.
Step 8 –Transfer the skillet from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
Step 9 –Spread the berry mixture over the crumble.
Step 10 –Sprinkle the remaining crumble over the berry mixture.
Step 11 –Bake the blueberry crumble until it is golden-brown, about 25 minutes.
Step 12 –Allow the blueberry crumble to cool completely.
Step 13 –Slice and serve.
