Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- powdered sugar, to taste, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
Step 2 –Line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
Step 3 –In a large bowl, add the butter and the granulated sugar and use an electric hand mixer to beat until it is well-combined and resembles a wet, sandy mixture.
Step 4 –Add the eggs and the vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until the eggs are fully incorporated.
Step 5 –Add the mashed bananas to the butter mixture and whisk until smooth.
