Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2/3 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken pieces, skinless and boneless, cut into 1/2-inch strips

Directions

Step 1 –Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Step 2 –Add the barbeque sauce, the Worcestershire sauce, and the garlic powder to the melted butter and stir to combine.

Step 3 –Add the chicken strips to the barbeque sauce mixture and stir to coat the chicken.

Step 4 –Cover the saucepan and simmer the barbeque sauce/chicken mixture until a thermometer inserted into the center of the chicken reads at least 165 degrees F, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 5 –Spoon the sauce over the chicken pieces and continue cooking until the sauce thickens, about 4 minutes.

Step 6 –Serve.
