Ingredients
- 2 cups small shell pasta, cooked
- 3 cups frozen mixed vegetables, cooked
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 2 cups crispy fried onions, divided
- 2 cups chicken, cooked and shredded
- 1 (10.5-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Mix all of the ingredients, reserving 1/2 of the cheddar and 1/2 of the onions for the topping, in a large bowl, stirring well to combine.
Step 3 –Spoon the casserole mixture into a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Step 4 –Bake until heated through, about 25-30 minutes.
Step 5 –Top the casserole with the reserved cheese and the reserved onions and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
