Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more, to taste
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 2 –On a large sheet pan, add the green beans, the olive oil, and the salt and toss to combine.
Step 3 –Bake, tossing the green beans about halfway through, until the beans are crisp-tender, about 10-15 minutes.
Step 4 –Toss the green beans again, then sprinkle with the garlic and 1/4 teaspoon of the black pepper.
Step 5 –Top the green beans with the parmesan and the mozzarella.
Step 6 –Switch the oven to the broil setting.
Step 7 –Broil the beans, while watching them closely, until the cheeses have melted and are golden-brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 8 –Season the beans with the extra pepper.
Step 9 –Serve.
