Ingredients

For the açaí syrup:

  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon açaí powder

For the concentrate:

  • ice, to taste, for serving
  • 1/2 cup white grape juice
  • 1 cup cold filtered water
  • 1/4 teaspoon green coffee bean powder
  • freeze-dried strawberries, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –In a saucepan over high heat, bring 1/2 cup of the freeze-dried strawberries, the sugar, 1/2 cup of the filtered water, and the açaí powder to a boil.

Step 2 –Lower the heat and simmer the syrup until a texture forms, about 8-11 minutes.

Step 3 –Place a mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the strawberry mixture into the strainer to separate the syrup. Make sure all liquid from the fruit is released.

Step 4 –Allow the syrup to cool for 10 minutes.

Step 5 –Fill a glass with the ice and then add the grape juice, the remaining cold water, and the green coffee bean powder; cover the glass and shake to mix it together.

Step 6 –Pour the syrup into the glass and top with the extra freeze-dried strawberries.

Step 7 –Serve.
