Ingredients

  • 6 strips bacon, cut crosswise into thirds
  • 3/4 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish, optional
  • 1/2 cup barbeque sauce

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 3 –Place the bacon slices on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels and cover them with additional paper towels.

Step 4 –Microwave the bacon slices until they are partially cooked but not crisp, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 5 –Place the chicken in a small bowl, sprinkle it with the steak seasoning, and toss to coat.

Step 6 –Wrap a bacon piece around each chicken cube and secure with a toothpick.

Step 7 –Place the chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8 –Bake the chicken for 10 minutes.

Step 9 –In a bowl, add the horseradish to the barbeque sauce.

Step 10 –Transfer the baking sheet from the oven and brush the sauce mixture over the wrapped chicken.

Step 11 –Bake until the chicken is cooked through at 165 degrees F and the bacon is crisp, about 5-10 minutes.

Step 12 –Serve.
