Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 medium onion, optional, diced
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 large head iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 (15.5-ounce) bag cheesy tortilla chips, lightly broken into bite-size pieces
- 1 (16-ounce) bottle Catalina dressing

Directions
Step 1 –In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef, the salt, and the black pepper and cook, while crumbling the meat, until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess grease.
Step 2 –In a large bowl, add the ground beef, the tomatoes, the onion, and the cheddar cheese and mix to combine.
Step 3 –Cover and transfer the ground beef mixture to the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.
Step 4 –When ready to serve, add the lettuce, the cheesy tortilla chips, and the Catalina dressing and stir to combine.
Step 5 –Plate and serve.
