  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup green olives with pimientos, drained and sliced
  • 1/4 cup seasoned mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon stone-ground mustard
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, optional, crumbled
  • bibb lettuce leaves, optional, to taste

Step 1 –In a large bowl, combine the beef, the soy sauce, the Worcestershire sauce, the garlic powder, and the onion powder, mixing lightly but thoroughly.

Step 2 –Shape the meat mixture into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties, indenting the centers slightly. Indenting the center is critical to maintaining the patty shape.

Step 3 –Melt the butter over medium heat in a large nonstick skillet.

Step 4 –Cook the burgers in the melted butter until they reach 160 degrees F internally, about 4-6 minutes per side.

Step 5 –In a small bowl, combine the olives, the mayonnaise, and the mustard.
