It’s definitely the top of the morning with this Tot-of-the-Morning Bake! It’s certainly a wonderful way to be greeted! Fluffy eggs, tender tater tots, crisp bacon, melty cheese… yes indeed, Tot-of-the-Morning Bake has all the good stuff rolled up in one delicious dish! You’ll never need to wonder what to make for breakfast again; you’ll only need to know where your fork and plate are!

Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon, diced
- 1 (32-ounce) package frozen tater tots or potato nuggets
- 12 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- fresh herbs, optional, of your choice, to taste, for garnish

Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the bacon, turning it occasionally, until it is evenly browned, about 5-8 minutes.
Step 3 –Drain the bacon on paper towels.
Step 4 –Spread the bacon onto the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, trying to cover as much of the bottom as possible.
Step 5 –Spread the tater tots over the bacon.
Step 6 –Beat the eggs, the milk, the salt, and the pepper together in a bowl.
Step 7 –Pour the egg mixture over the tater tots.
Step 8 –Top the casserole with the cheddar cheese.
Step 9 –Bake until hot in the center, about 1 hour.
Step 10 –Serve garnished with the fresh herbs.
