Ingredients
- 8 ounces rigatoni
- 3/4 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 (15-ounce) can of pizza sauce
- 2/3 cup condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 2 cups part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 (3.5-ounce) package of sliced pepperoni
- fresh basil, optional, chopped
Directions
Step 1 –Cook the rigatoni according to the package directions.
Step 2 –Drain the rigatoni.
Step 3 –In a large skillet, cook the beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes, breaking the beef up into crumbles as it cooks.
Step 4 –Drain the fat from the skillet.
Step 5 –Add the pizza sauce, soup, and cheese.
Step 6 –Cook and stir over low heat until the cheese is melted.
Step 7 –Add the rigatoni and pepperoni to the beef mixture.
Step 8 –Heat through, stirring to combine.
Step 9 –Top the pasta with basil.
Step 10 –Serve.
