  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more, to taste
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Step 2 –Place the green beans on a large sheet pan.

Step 3 –Add the oil and the salt to the green beans.

Step 4 –Bake the green beans, tossing halfway through, until the beans are crisp-tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 5 –Preheat the broiler.

Step 6 –Sprinkle the green beans with the garlic and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper and toss to coat.
