Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 48 cocktail-size smoked link sausages or hot dogs

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Unroll both cans of the dough.

Step 3 –Separate the dough into 16 triangles.

Step 4 –Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow triangles.

Step 5 –Place the sausages on the shortest side of each triangle.

Step 6 –Roll up each triangle, starting at the shortest side of the triangle and rolling to the opposite point.

Step 7 –Place the point side down on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.

Step 8 –Bake until golden brown, switching the position of the cookie sheets halfway through baking, about 12-15 minutes. Make sure the sausages are cooked to a safe eating temperature according to the package directions.

Step 9 –Immediately remove the pigs in a blanket from the cookie sheet.

Step 10 –Serve.
