Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 pound Braunschweiger sausage, room temperature, can substitute liverwurst
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- pretzel chips, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 –In a small skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
Step 2 –Add the onions to the heated olive oil and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Step 3 –In a medium bowl, add the sausage, the cream cheese, and the sautéed onions and stir until well-combined.
Step 4 –Serve the dip with the pretzel chips.
