Nothing beats resting by an open campfire, listening to the crickets’ song and admiring the starlight; it’s restful and reflective in exactly the way we all need from time to time. Even if you can’t get out to the country to enjoy a campfire directly, the Campfire Casserole can get you all warm and toasty in that same way! This dish is truly hearty, with no less than four kinds of beans mixed with savory ground beef, spicy bratwurst, and fatty bacon making every bite truly magically meaty.
Brown sugar and barbeque sauce adds a distinct open-air smokiness to everything, so you can practically hear the crackle of the campfire as you chow down. Campfire Casserole calls everyone together to sing songs and share in the good times… you’ll have to make sure you have s’mores ready for dessert.
