Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons salted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips, melted
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Line a 9×9-inch metal baking pan with parchment paper, allowing for some overhang on the sides.

Step 3 –In a large bowl, add the melted butter.

Step 4 –Using a whisk, whisk the sugar into the butter until smooth, about 30 seconds.

Step 5 –Add the eggs and the vanilla extract into the butter mixture and whisk for about 1 minute.

Step 6 –Whisk 1/2 cup of the melted chocolate into the butter mixture until smooth and combined.

Step 7 –Use a spatula to stir the flour, the cocoa powder, and the salt into the butter mixture until just combined.

Step 8 –Fold the whole chocolate chips into the batter until combined.

Step 9 –Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Step 10 –Bake the brownies until a fork inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes.

Step 11 –Let the brownies cool in the pan for 30 minutes before using the overhanging parchment paper to remove the brownies from the pan.

Step 12 –Slice and serve the brownies.
