Is it even a party without Party Meatballs? Maybe, but the festivities certainly won’t be as delicious. The sauce alone is sure to get people jumping with its spicy, savory sweetness. The meatballs themselves are beyond meaty and juicy, so your tastebuds will be having a party of their own. Party Meatballs are a celebration in and of themselves!

Ingredients

For the meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the sauce:

  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha

Directions

Step 1 –Combine the beef, pork, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and mix until combined.

Step 2 –Using a tablespoon measure, scoop and roll the meat mixture into small meatballs. It should make about 45.

Step 3 –Whisk the chili sauce, apricot preserves, soy sauce, and sriracha together in a slow cooker.

Step 4 –Remove 1/2 cup of the sauce, and set it aside.

Step 5 –Nestle the meatballs in the sauce in the slow cooker in two layers.

Step 7 –Cover the slow cooker and cook on high until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce is thick, for about 4 hours. Gently stir the meatballs halfway through to ensure even coating.

Step 8 –Serve.
