Passion Tea Lemonade

Let’s shake up your drink selections! Sure, water is good for you. But Passion Tea Lemonade is good for the soul! The next time you’re feeling parched, turn to a nice tall glass of this tangy and sweet drink over ice. It’s super easy to make and it keeps well in the fridge, so you can double, or even triple it, ensuring you basically have it on tap when you want to mix things up. We love Passion Tea Lemonade in the summertime by the pool, but it’s truly tasty any time of the year. And if you’re worried about your H20 intake, this sweet drink includes it… so, it’s basically the same thing, right?! Cheers for that!

Ingredients

For the vanilla simple syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the tea lemonade:

  • 8 ounces passion tea, brewed and chilled
  • 2 ounces lemonade, homemade or store-bought
  • ice, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, add the water and the sugar and bring to a boil.

Step 2 –Boil, while stirring, until the sugar dissolves.

Step 3 –Reduce the heat to low and simmer the simple syrup, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 4 –Transfer the simple syrup from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 5 –Let the vanilla simple syrup cool.

Step 6 –Pour the vanilla simple syrup into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Step 7 –Add the passion tea, the lemonade, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of the vanilla simple syrup to a pitcher and stir to combine.

Step 8 –Add the ice evenly into two glasses.

Step 9 –Pour the passion tea lemonade over the ice.

Step 10 –Serve.
