Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) can chocolate syrup
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 19 ice cream sandwiches, of your choice
  • 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup salted peanuts

Directions

Step 1 –Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave, stopping to stir every 30 seconds, until hot, for a total of about 2 minutes on high. Do not allow it to boil.

Step 2 –Stir the peanut butter into the warmed chocolate until smooth.

Step 3 –Allow the chocolate-peanut butter mixture to cool to room temperature.

Step 4 –Line the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish with a layer of the ice cream sandwiches.

Step 5 –Spread 1/2 of the whipped topping over the sandwiches in an even layer.

Step 6 –Spoon 1/2 of the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the whipped topping layer, spreading it into an even layer.

Step 7 –Top the whipped topping layer with 1/2 of the peanuts.

Step 8 –Repeat the layers once.

Step 9 –Freeze the layered mixture until firm, for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.

Step 10 –Cut the frozen layered mixture into squares.

Step 11 –Serve.
