Main Differences Between 5w30 and 10w30

  1. 5w30 is used in a wider range of temperatures to lubricate engines. 10w30 is a similar lubricant oil used for a small range of temperatures.
  2. The most visible difference between the two lies in tier viscosities. 10w30 is more viscous and thicker than 5w30, so 5w30 can reach the difficult parts of the engine due to its thinness and flow rate.
