After-Church Creamy Cucumbers

And if there’s no time for a five-minute conversation, there certainly isn’t enough time to whip up a whole entire feast! That’s why we love these After-Church Creamy Cucumbers. These creamy, crispy, refreshing bites of delight will be chilling in the fridge waiting for you with open arms. Quickly snag some fried chicken and a few of your other favorite sides from the grocery store on the way home and cure that hunger with a snap. Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • pepper, to taste
  • 4 medium cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings

Directions

Step 1 –In a large bowl, whisk the sour cream, the vinegar, the sugar, and the pepper together until blended.

Step 2 –Add the cucumbers and the onions to the sour cream mixture and toss to coat.

Step 3 –Refrigerate the cucumber mixture, covered, for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 4 –Serve the cucumbers with a slotted spoon.
