Ingredients

  • 8 ounces thin spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan, grated
  • 1 fresh lemon, zested and sliced into wedges
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Step 1 –Cook the pasta to al dente according to the package directions.

Step 2 –Drain the pasta and set aside.

Step 3 –In a small bowl, combine the chopped parsley, the parmesan, the lemon zest, and the pepper. Set the bowl aside.

Step 4 –Add the olive oil and the minced garlic to the pot you used to cook the pasta, sautéing over medium heat just until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 5 –Remove the pot from the heat and add in the pasta and the butter.

Step 6 –Add the parsley mixture to the pot and toss to coat.

Step 7 –Squeeze about 1 tablespoon of the fresh lemon juice over the pasta.

Step 8 –Season the pasta with the salt.

Step 9 –Toss the pasta to combine and taste for seasoning.

Step 10 –Serve warm!
