Ingredients

  • 12 bacon strips
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Place the bacon in a single layer on a foil-lined baking pan.

Step 3 –Bake until lightly browned, about 16-18 minutes.

Step 4 –Remove the bacon from the pan, discarding the drippings and wiping clean if necessary.

Step 5 –Mix the brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon, and pepper in a medium-size mixing bowl.

Step 6 –Coat both sides of the bacon with the brown sugar mixture, patting to help the mixture adhere.

Step 7 –Return the bacon to the pan and bake until caramelized, 8-10 minutes longer.

Step 8 –Remove immediately from the pan and serve.
