Ahhh such satisfaction in a cocktail glass! Pecan Pie Martini really does capture the sugary, creamy, nutty flavor… it even comes with a tiny crunch in the form of a brown-sugar-and-pecan-dipped rim. A little boozy with a whole lot of autumn fun in a glass, the Pecan Pie Martini helps bring out the thankful feelings sip by sip.

Ingredients

For the rim:

  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

For the martini:

  • ice, to taste
  • 1 ounce pecan-flavored vodka
  • 1 ounce Irish cream liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce vanilla-flavored vodka
  • 2 ounces heavy cream

Directions

Step 1 –In a food processor, add the pecans and the brown sugar and pulse until the pecans are ground.

Step 2 –Transfer the pecan mixture to a bowl.

Step 3 –On a small plate big enough to fit the rim of the cocktail glass, add the maple syrup.

Step 4 –Dip the rim of the cocktail glass into the maple syrup and then into the pecan mixture, twisting slightly and gently to ensure the entire rim is well-coated.

Step 5 –In a shaker, add the ice.

Step 6 –Pour the pecan-flavored vodka, the Irish cream, the vanilla-flavored, and the heavy cream over the ice and gently shake to combine.

Step 7 –Strain the mixture into the serving glass.

Step 8 –Serve.
