Caprese Ravioli Bake

For the perfect Caprese experience, you need to make sure you hit all the right notes, and Caprese Ravioli Bake does that with aplomb! The herbaceous pesto, the creamy mozzarella, the vibrant tomato, and the fragrant basil — it all comes together to make a symphony of delight. Of course, Caprese Ravioli Bake wouldn’t be a full meal without some cheesy ravioli and savory chicken! The symphony of scrumptiousness just got a bit more melodious!

Ingredients

  • 7 ounces prepared pesto, store-bought or homemade
  • 20 ounces cheese ravioli, refrigerated
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, cooked and chopped
  • 8 ounces cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • fresh basil, to taste, chopped

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Spread 3 tablespoons of the pesto along the bottom of a 10.5×7.5-inch square casserole dish.

Step 3 –Layer 1/3 of the ravioli, 1/3 of the remaining pesto, 1/3 of the chicken, 1/3 of the cherry tomatoes, and 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese over the top of the initial pesto layer.

Step 4 –Repeat the layers twice, until the casserole dish is filled, taking care to use the remaining mozzarella cheese as the final layer over the top of the casserole.

Step 5 –Bake the casserole until the cheese is melted and the casserole is heated through, about 25-35 minutes.

Step 6 –Serve topped with the fresh basil.
