Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 12 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 ounces) package cheddar jack cheese, shredded

For the sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon pickle brine

For the topping and serving:

  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 cup lettuce, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
  • kettle cooked potato chips or pita chips, optional, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Over medium-high heat, heat the oil in a medium-sized skillet.

Step 3 –Add in the Worcestershire sauce, ground beef, salt, and pepper.

Step 4 –Cook the beef until no longer pink, breaking it apart using a wooden spoon, about 6 minutes.

Step 5 –Remove the skillet from the heat.

Step 6 –Slather and spread the cream cheese across the bottom of a 10-inch cast-iron skillet.

Step 7 –Layer in 1/2 of the shredded cheddar jack cheese.

Step 8 –Add in the cooked ground beef.

Step 9 –Add the remaining shredded cheese to the top.

Step 10 –Bake until the edges are bubbly, about 20 minutes.

Step 11 –Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes.

Step 12 –Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and pickle brine in a small bowl.

Step 13 –Top the dip with the chopped pickle, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and the sauce.

Step 14 –Serve with pita chips or kettle-cooked potato chips.
