Ingredients

  • 5-10 blocks cheese, of your choice
  • 2 pounds grapes, green, red, or a mix of both
  • crackers, to taste, of your choice
  • 2 cups olives, black or green
  • 1 cup jarred fig jam
  • toasted bread, to taste, cut into small pieces
  • 2-3 cured meats, of your choice
  • 2 cups pecans

Directions

Step 1 –Prepare the charcuterie serving board on the table where it will be served.

Step 2 –Lay out the blocks of the cheeses first, then fill in around them with the grapes, the crackers, the olives, the jam, the toasted bread, the meats, and the pecans. Be creative with where you place everything, focusing on color contrasts and texture contrasts.

Step 3 –Slice the ends of each of the harder cheeses and place a cheese knife near the soft cheeses.

Step 4 –Place a couple small serving forks and spoons around the board.

Step 5 –Serve!
