It’s juicy, it’s quick, and it’s buttery… all of the best things! Perfect as a side dish, sprinkled over your salad, or mixed in with your taco toppings, Fresh Sautéed Corn will make you feel like you’ve hit the jackpot with every bite!

Ingredients

  • 8 ears yellow or white corn, husks and silk removed and discarded
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more, to taste

Directions

Step 1 –Cut the corn kernels off the cob as close to the ear as possible without removing any of the ear.

Step 2 –In a large, heavy sauté pan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Step 3 –Add the corn kernels, 1 teaspoon of the salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper to the butter and sauté over medium-low heat until all the starchiness in the corn is gone, about 8-10 minutes.

Step 4 –Taste and season the corn with the extra salt and the extra pepper.

Step 5 –Serve.
