Garlic Butter Filet

Ingredients

  • 4-6 cuts filet mignon
  • 2-3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 4-6 teaspoons Italian garlic butter, optional, for serving
  • parsley, optional, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Step 2 –Let the filets sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

Step 3 –Pat the filets dry.

Step 4 –Place the meat in a seasoned cast-iron skillet so the filets are close together but are not touching.

Step 5 –Drizzle the steaks with the Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle them evenly with the salt, the pepper, and the granulated garlic.

Step 6 –Place the skillet over medium-high heat and sear each side of the fillet mignon for 3-4 minutes.

Step 7 –Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook until their internal temperature reaches at least 135 degrees F for medium-rare, about 7-8 minutes.

Step 8 –Transfer the steaks from the oven and top immediately with the garlic butter and the parsley.

Step 9 –Serve.
