Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Into a large mixing bowl add the butter, the eggs, and the vanilla.

Step 3 –Using an electric hand mix, cream the butter mixture together until smooth.

Step 4 –Add the cake mix to the butter mix and beat with the hand mixer until fully combined.

Step 5 –Add the chocolate chips to the cake mixture and stir to combine.

Step 6 –Scoop the cookie dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a non-stick baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

Step 7 –Bake until the cookies are golden-brown around the edges, about 10-12 minutes.

Step 8 –Let the cookies cool on the pan for 3 minutes, then transfer to a sheet of parchment paper on the counter to finish cooling.

Step 9 –Serve.
