Marshmallow Pie

Ingredients

For the pie:

  • 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups imitation whipped cream

For the topping:

  • 1 teaspoon graham cracker crumbs

Directions

Step 1 –In a large mixing bowl, add 1 3/4 cups of the graham cracker crumbs, the sugar, and the melted butter and use a fork to combine until a crumbly mixture forms.

Step 2 –Press the graham cracker mixture into a 9-inch pie plate to form a pie crust.

Step 3 –Place the pie crust in the fridge to set.

Step 4 –In a large sauce pot over medium-low heat, add the milk and the marshmallows.

Step 5 –Stir the marshmallow mixture continuously, ensuring none of it sticks to the bottom of the pot, until melted.

Step 6 –Transfer the melted marshmallows from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.

Step 7 –Fold the imitation whipped cream into the marshmallow mixture.

Step 8 –Pour the pie filling into the prepared crust.

Step 9 –Sprinkle the filling with the remaining graham cracker crumbs.

Step 10 –Allow the pie to chill for at least 6 hours and up to overnight.

Step 11 –Slice and serve.
