The beauty of Mashed Rutabagas is that when prepared right, they taste so much like potatoes! The only difference in terms of flavor is a slight, carrot-like sweetness that isn’t unwelcome! Mashed with rich butter and lightly seasoned, Mashed Rutabagas are a healthier, but still indulgent side dish that pairs well with anything mashed potatoes would accompany. Plus, they are so, so easy to make! Why worry about watching your waistline when making a healthy substitution like this is so easy?
