Ingredients

  • 7 ounces brie or Camembert cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 6 ounces spreadable cheese wedges (do not use cream cheese)
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons wheat beer
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground caraway
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup chives, finely chopped, for serving
  • 1 white onion, finely sliced, for serving
  • bread slices, of your choice, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 –In a medium bowl, add the brie cheese, the spreadable cheese, the butter, the wheat beer, the ground caraway, the ground paprika, the salt, and the freshly ground pepper and use a fork to mix until combined and smooth.

Step 2 –Tightly cover the bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours and up to overnight.

Step 3 –Transfer the dip from the refrigerator and let it rest until it reaches room temperature.

Step 4 –Top the dip with the chives and the onions.

Step 5 –Serve the dip with the bread slices.
