Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta, of your choice
- 1/2 pound frozen broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ranch seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Step 1 –Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta.
Step 2 –Cook the pasta to al dente according to the package directions.
Step 3 –When the pasta is just tender, add the broccoli and let sit for 1 minute.
Step 4 –Reserve 1/4 cup of the starch pasta water.
Step 5 –Drain the pasta and the broccoli in a colander.
Step 6 –Return the pasta and the broccoli to the pot off the heat.
Step 7 –Add the butter and the ranch seasoning, stirring until the butter is melted and everything is coated in the seasoning. If the pasta looks dry, add the reserved pasta water a little at a time.
Step 8 –Season with the salt and the pepper and serve.
