Aaron Rodgers Ham Sliders

Aaron Rodgers is one of the quarterback greats. Why? Well, his incredible and accurate throwing arm packs a punch and you can always count on him to come through in the most crucial moments. Funny enough, when we tried these cheesy, ham-topped bites, they kind of reminded us of him… which is why they’re called Aaron Rodgers Ham Sliders. Similar to him, the sweet and fluffy Hawaiian rolls, topped with that delectable meat-and-cheese duo, will really blow you away with their powerful flavors. They’re simple to make, so they’re always dependable when the clock is ticking. You see what we mean? They’ll be the clutch touchdown you’ve been searching for and the delicious dinner “W” you needed!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup garlic butter sauce, such as Louisiana Fish Fry Products® Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian rolls
  • 10 slices cheese, such as cheddar
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to tase
  • sesame seeds, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –In a bowl, add the garlic butter sauce and the honey and mix well to combine.

Step 3 –Slice the pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and reserve the cardboard tray.

Step 4 –Spread the sauce mixture on the inside of both roll halves. Reserve the remaining sauce mixture.

Step 5 –Top both of the roll halves with the cheese slices.

Step 6 –Top only the bottom roll half with the ham.

Step 7 –Return the roll tops layer to the top of the ham layer.

Step 8 –Season the sliders with the salt and the pepper.

Step 9 –Evenly brush the remaining sauce mixture over the top of the sliders.

Step 10 –Place the sliders in the reserved cardboard tray and pack it tightly against them.

Step 11 –Cover the sliders with foil and bake until the cheese has melted, about 10 minutes.

Step 12 –Cut the sliders into squares.

Step 13 –Serve the sliders sprinkled with the sesame seeds.
