Ingredients
- 4 pounds pork loin, boneless and optionally trimmed
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried mustard
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- fresh herbs, optional, such as parsley, to taste, chopped, for garnish
- 2 cups barbeque sauce, of your choice
- hamburger buns, to taste, for serving

Directions
Step 1 –In a 4-6-quart slow cooker, add the pork loin.
Step 2 –Pour the apple juice over the pork.
Step 3 –In a bowl, combine the seasoning salt, the garlic powder, the Italian seasoning, the mustard, the onion powder, and the black pepper.
Step 4 –Sprinkle 1/2 of the seasoning mixture over the pork.
Step 5 –Turn the pork and sprinkle the remaining seasoning mixture over it.
Step 6 –Cover and cook until the pork is fall-apart tender, about 8-10 hours on low.
Step 7 –Shred the pork with two forks, discarding the excess fat.
Step 8 –Toss the pork in the cooking liquid and garnish with the fresh herbs.
Step 9 –Serve with the barbeque sauce and the buns.
