Bagel Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 10 eggs, large
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 1 cup honey ham, chopped
  • 3 plain bagels, chopped into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, precooked and chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chives

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 –In a large mixing bowl, add the eggs and the cream and whisk until the eggs are beaten.

Step 4 –Add the salt, the pepper, the onion powder, and the garlic powder to the egg mixture and continue mixing until well combined.

Step 5 –Pour the egg mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Step 6 –Sprinkle the onion, the ham, and the bagel pieces over the egg mixture.

Step 7 –Use a spatula to evenly spread the bagel pieces out, then gently press them into the egg mixture.

Step 8 –Sprinkle the bagel pieces with the shredded cheese.

Step 9 –Top the cheese with the bacon.

Step 10 –Bake until the bacon is crispy and the tops of the bagels are starting to brown, about 20-25 minutes.
