You can’t get more down-home and delicious than this! Banana Pudding Bread Pudding… the name says it all! With cubes of French bread and slices of sweet bananas soaking in a delectably creamy vanilla sauce that’s all topped with toasted pecans and served warm with delicious maple syrup, is there really anything else left to say?! Lusciously yummy Banana Pudding Bread Pudding is a delightful dessert, or could even be a wonderful addition to a quaint breakfast or brunch gathering. It just feels like home!

Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 large bananas, sliced
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 6 large eggs
- 1/3 cup pecans, toasted and chopped, for topping
- maple syrup, to taste, for serving

Directions
Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 –Coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 3 –Evenly add the bread cubes and the banana slices to the prepared baking dish.
Step 4 –In a large bowl, add the milk, the sugar, the butter, the vanilla extract, the salt, and the eggs and whisk to combine.
Step 5 –Evenly pour the milk mixture over the bread-banana mixture and lightly press with a spoon to make sure all the bread is soaked with the liquid.
Step 6 –Cover the bread pudding and transfer it to the refrigerator, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Step 7 –Transfer the bread pudding from the refrigerator to the oven and bake, uncovered, until puffed and golden-brown, about 45 minutes.
Step 8 –Transfer the bread pudding to a wire rack and evenly sprinkle with the pecans.
Step 9 –Serve the bread pudding warm, drizzled with the maple syrup.
