Your tender, juicy chicken breasts have the privilege of marinating in this savory, sweet sauce. The meaty goodness soaks up every ounce of flavor in the fridge, and then you can grill, fry, really, cook it however your taste buds desire. Bite after bite, you will agree that we’re not lying about your chicken being coated in the Best-Ever Chicken Marinade!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce, reduced-sodium
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 5 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, whisk the vinegar, the soy sauce, the oil, the parsley, the basil, the oregano, the garlic powder, and the black pepper together. Pour the marinade into a resealable plastic bag.

Step 2 –Add the chicken to the bag, coat with the marinade, squeeze out the excess air, and seal the bag.

Step 3 –Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 4 –Preheat the grill to medium-low heat.

Step 5 –Lightly grease the grates of the grill.

Step 6 –Drain and discard the marinade.

Step 7 –Grill the chicken breasts until they are no longer pink inside and an instant thermometer inserted into the center reads at least 165 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes per side.
