Ingredients
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 1/2 cups saltine crackers, crushed
- 6 pork loin chops, boneless and 1-inch thick
- 1/4 cup canola oil
Directions
Step 1 –In a shallow bowl, combine the beaten egg and milk.
Step 2 –Place the cracker crumbs in another shallow bowl.
Step 3 –Dip each of the pork chops in the egg mixture, then coat with the cracker crumbs, patting them to make a thick coating.
Step 4 –In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chops in oil for 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chops reads 145 degrees F.
Step 5 –Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
