Classic Monkey Bread is a traditional holiday confection, but you can make it any time of the year for some much-needed sweetness! This treat contains cinnamon, sugar, and fluffy biscuit dough. Serve this Classic Monkey Bread warm and top it with some rich vanilla bean ice cream for the dessert of your dreams!

Ingredients

  • 3 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –Grease a 9-10-inch tube/bundt pan.

Step 3 –Mix the white sugar and cinnamon in a plastic bag.

Step 4 –Cut the biscuits into quarters.

Step 5 –Shake 6-8 biscuit pieces at a time in the sugar and cinnamon mix.

Step 6 –Arrange pieces in the bottom of the prepared pan. Continue until all biscuits are coated and placed in the pan.

Step 7 –In a small saucepan, melt the margarine with the brown sugar over medium heat.

Step 8 –Boil for 1 minute.

Step 9 –Pour the mixture over the biscuits.

Step 10 –Bake for 35 minutes.

Step 11 –Let the Monkey Bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a plate. Serve.
