Creamy Paprika Pork

Creamy Paprika Pork is the fanciest dish that is such a breeze to make, you’re sure to be amazed you’ve never tried it before! The pork is tender, almost melt-in-your-mouth tender in fact, because it’s braised in a simple yet delicious savory cream sauce. That cream sauce is infused with the sweet, smoky flavor of paprika, which complements the succulent pork amazingly. Piled atop rice or egg noodles, Creamy Paprika Pork is a lick-your-plate-clean kind of dish!

Ingredients

  • 1 (1-pound) pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • egg noodles or rice, to taste, cooked and hot, for serving
  • fresh Italian parsley, optional, to taste, minced, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 –In a bowl, add the pork, the flour, the paprika, the salt, and the pepper and toss to coat the pork well.

Step 2 –In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Step 3 –Add the pork to the melted butter and sauté until it is lightly browned and the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes.

Step 4 –Add the cream and bring the mixture to a boil, while scraping the bottom of the pan to release the browned bits.

Step 5 –Cook the pork-cream mixture until the cream is slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 6 –Serve the pork and the cream sauce with the egg noodles and garnished with the parsley.
