  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted, completely cooled
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 unbaked piecrust

Directions

Step 1 –Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 –In a large bowl, add the melted butter, the sugar, the flour, the eggs, the vanilla, the pecans, and the chocolate chips and mix together.

Step 3 –Pour the filling mixture into the piecrust.

Step 4 –Bake the pie until it’s set, about 40-45 minutes.

Step 5 –Slice and serve.
